As a renowned academic institution, the ‘Transilvania’ University of Brașov faces the challenges brought along by the need for competitiveness in the European Area of Higher Education and Research. The Scientific Bulletin of the University is a valuable tool in facing these challenges, having a history which spans over more than 50 years. Thus, the Scientific Bulletin of the ‘Transilvania’ University of Brașov aims to increase the visibility of the research outcomes. Since 2013, this journal, which is focused on the main research directions developed in our university is issued in bi-annual edition, comprising nine series. Each Bulletin series is supervised by a prestigious Scientific Committee, who selects the papers and insures the quality of the journal by means of peer review.
